William Webster Barrett, Jr.
January 26, 1952 - October 31, 2016
William W. Barret, Jr. was better known to family and fiends as "Littleman".
Born January 26, 1952 in West Chester, Pennsylvania. He passed away on October 31, 2016 at the Veterans Administration Hospice Medical Center in Coatesville after loosing his battle with cancer.
His sister Brenda Barrett Davis and niece Lisa Barrett were by his side from start to finish. Even when the Lord called him home.
He is the son of Bishop William W. Barrett, Sr. and the late Hilda A. Snowden.
He attended the Kennett Consolidated School District, where he lived most of his life.
In 1971 Littleman joined the Marines and received and Honorable Discharge for health reasons.
He was a retiree from the Exton Mall in Exton, Pennsylvania where he was a part of the Janitorial Services.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his father: Bishop William W. Barrett, Sr,and stepmother: Esther Barrett of Oxford, six sisters: Brenda Barrett Davis, Terri L.Barrett and Lisa A. Barrett of Kennett Square, Kathryn Bowman of Coatesville, Vanessa Joy Barrett of Upper Darby, Ella Avalos of Oxford, four brothers: Darryl Barrett of Kennett Square, Richard Barrett of Delaware, Ernest Peterson and Emmanuel Wilson both of Oxford a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his mother: Hilda A. Snowden and his sister: Charlene S. Snowden.
"Littleman" loved to play pool with Mike and the gang at the Coatesville Senior Center. He also enjoyed music and watching movies.
Wee miss you "Littleman". You were a "Hard Nut to Crack" but we loved you. It hurts and breaks our heart that you're no longer here with us, yet we know that God works all things out after the council of His own will. God knows and knew what was best for you. One thing for sure. There is no failure in Him at all.
